What we collect
- Account data. Email, name, business location for breeders. Email and name (optional) for buyers who file inquiries.
- Listing data. Whatever the breeder publicly posts.
- Inquiry messages. Stored to enable seller-buyer follow-up and dispute resolution.
- Payment metadata. Stripe handles payment processing. We retain transaction IDs, amounts, and timestamps - not card numbers.
- Usage analytics. Anonymized page views and search queries via Plausible. No third-party trackers, no ad pixels.
How we use it
- To operate the marketplace (show listings, route inquiries, send transactional email).
- To process Live Arrival Guarantee claims.
- To send opt-in newsletters (only if you opt in - never by default).
- To detect fraud and abuse.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data to anyone.
- We don't share your data with advertisers.
- We don't share your email with breeders other than the one you specifically inquire with.
- We don't use third-party ad pixels (Meta, Google Ads, etc.).

Your rights
- Access. Request a copy of your data anytime.
- Deletion. Request account deletion. Some data (transactions, claims) is retained for legal/tax purposes for up to 7 years.
- Correction. Update your account from the dashboard.
- Opt-out. Unsubscribe from any non-transactional email via the link in each email.
Children
The platform is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
State-specific rights (CCPA, etc.)
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what data we have, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of any data "sale" (we don't sell data, so this is moot, but you have the right anyway).
